PENDLETON -- Wildhorse Resort and Casino in Pendleton is holding a contest to rename its sports bar.

The current name, Wildfire, has been restricted by trademark, which has prompted the resort to rebrand its popular hangout, according to a news release.

Name nomination forms are available at Wildfire Sports Bar. The contest will run through Oct. 6.

"We have gained a lot of popularity as a sports venue and now we need a new name that really represents our status as a popular entertainment hub in the area as well," said Wildfire manager, Kevin Haid.

The person who comes up with the winning name will receive a prize package from the resort, including a stay in the Tower Hotel, dinner for two and two movie passes.
