19-year-old injured after rolling car in Kennewick

A 2006 Chevrolet Malibu rolled Monday evening after the driver lost control of the car while speeding on Highway 240.

Leslie A. Martinez, 19, was injured in the 5:38 p.m. crash. She was taken to Kennewick General Hospital.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Martinez was westbound on the highway near Edison Street when the car drifted to the right and she overcorrected.

The Chevrolet rolled before stopping on its wheels, the patrol said. Martinez was wearing a seat belt.
