Kennewick man interrupts attempted burglary

— Kennewick police are looking for someone who attempted to burglarize a Kennewick home Saturday.

A man had returned home to the 1000 block of W. 27th Avenue to find an unidentified person inside his home just before midnight, according to a news release.

When he entered, the suspect ran out the front door. The man attempted to chase the suspect, but was unable to catch him or her, police said. Although police used a K-9 and its handler, they were unable to find the suspect.
