Football: Vanderbilt's 5 TDs lead Connell to first win

Connell 34, Cle Elum/Roslyn 12: Gunner Vanderbilt had a career game Friday, scoring five touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a nonleague victory over the Warriors.

Vanderbilt scored on runs of 8-, 13-, 5- and 6 yards, and he caught a 31-yard pass from Austin Forsyth for his other touchdown. He finished with 188 yards rushing on 33 carries to deliver the Eagles to their first victory of the season.
