Women's soccer: CBC shuts out Green River 5-0

CBC 5, Green River 0: Yesenia Alvarado scored twice off assists from former Richland High School teammate Shady Callaway, who recorded four assists on the day in the Hawks’ NWAACC win over the Gators.

Columbia Basin goalkeeper Dakota Wickard had three saves to record her first shutout of the year.

“We got Taylor Schutzenhofer, our captain, back in central defense, which really solidified our back line,” Hawks coach Matt Mills said. “Our midfield really worked well today, which allowed us to stay in their half.
