Shucking for Sausage Fest

Fifth- and 6th-graders at Christ the King Catholic School in Richland held their annual corn shucking contest Friday in preparation for this weekend's Sausage Fest.

The annual Sausage Fest kicks off Sept. 20 on the school grounds at 1122 Long Ave. Admission is free.

Hours are from 5 p.m. to midnight Sept. 20 and from 11 a.m. to midnight Sept. 21.

There will be games for all ages, an indoor and outdoor biergarten, arts and crafts, wine tasting, live entertainment and as much sausage as you can eat.
