Records: Davis 1-1, Walla Walla 0-2

Last week: Wenatchee 53, Davis 13; Richland 21, Walla Walla 6

Players to watch: Davis, QB Nikhil Lizotte (21-75 rushing, 1 TD; 30-57-2—363 passing, 5 TDs); Eric Briscoe (8-122 receiving, 3 TDs); WR Ketner Kupp (8-121 receiving, 1 TD). Walla Walla, QB Zachary Zehner (35-62-0—390 passing, 3 TDs); WR Darnell Handcox (12-144 receiving, 1 TD); WR Mitchell Huffman (10-107 receiving, 1 TD).

Radio: ESPN 1490 AM

Notes: Davis has had two wildly different games to kick off the season, though it likely shows the difference in competition. In their opener, the Pirates topped Eastmont 41-37 before being blown out by Wenatchee last week. ... Davis’ defense has left something to be desired in its first two games, giving up nearly 600 yards through the air. The Blue Devils surely are licking their collective lips as Zehner has put up big numbers already this season.

Prediction: Walla Walla 35-21
