Construction workers from Pacific Crest Construction in Lynnwood work Thursday on building concrete forms for KID's new Kiona intake station on the Yamika River near the intersection of Highway 224 and Demoss Road near Benton City. The work is part of a $20.2 million project to deliver water to landowners on Red Mountain, home of the Red Mountain American Citicultural Area. The project including installation of 90,000 of pipes is expected to be completed by summer 2014.
