Webber Canyon fire near Benton City contained

Fire crews battle and monitor a fire believed to have burned over 100 acres Wednesday in Webber Canyon near Benton City, fire that officials are calling suspicious started near the top of Webber Canyon and spread down toward Webber Canyon Road. No building were lost and no one was injured.

Fire crews battle and monitor a fire they think burned about 300 acres in Webber Canyon near Benton City on Wednesday afternoon. Fire officials said the blaze, which is suspicious, burned in the hills between North McBee Road and Webber Canyon Road and was 75 percent contained Wednesday night. No buildings were lost and no one was injured.
