Letter: KGH board -- Wanda Briggs

September 18, 2013

It's not that often that an obvious choice presents itself in today's world. My friend Wanda Briggs is seeking re-election to the Kennewick General Hospital board and is surely the obvious choice.

As a lifelong Kennewick resident and friend to Wanda, I have watched her tireless and steadfast support for Kennewick and the hospital enrich our growing community.

She was instrumental in orchestrating the construction of the new Southridge hospital, which will serve to further bring world-class care and state-of-the-art medicine to Kennewick.

Wanda's tenacity and untiring dedication to the people of Kennewick will be continually demonstrated as the new hospital opens and services and expertise are available here in the Columiba Basin.

Wanda's efforts have earned our vote, but more importantly, her efforts deserve our continued support for her dedication. There is much more work to be done to truly maximize the utilization of Kennewick General. Her experience, expertise and know-how are precisely what the new hospital needs as it nears completion and the gigantic effort to commence operations begin. A thoughtful and seasoned hand is what is required at this exciting and challenging time.

Please help me support Wanda Briggs for the Kennewick General Hospital Board and allow her to help guide the new hospital into efficient and successful operations.
