Kennewick begins resurfacing project

Luis Galaviz of Central Washington Asphalt of Moses Lake drives machinery Tuesday applying gravel on Washington Street in Kennewick. The city plans to resurface 23.6 miles of arterial streets this year at a cost of $1.6 million, or $67,800 per mile. The work is scheduled to last through Sept. 24.
