Chicken Dance

Students from Christ the King School in Richland participate in the annual chicken dance competition to kick off the Sausage Fest weekend fundraiser for the school.

The annual Sausage Fest kicks off Sept. 20 on the school grounds at Christ the King Catholic School in Richland.

Hours are from 5 p.m. to midnight Sept. 20 and from 11 a.m. to midnight Sept. 21. The school is at 1122 Long Ave. Admission is free.

There will be games for all ages, an indoor and outdoor biergarten, arts and crafts, wine tasting, live entertainment and as much sausage as you can eat.

Here's the entertainment lineup:

Sept. 20

Indoor stage:

5 p.m. -- Dianne Young, traditional Oktoberfest music

7 p.m. -- Third Date, classic rock

8 p.m. -- Sultanna Dancers, Middle East dancing

Outdoor stage:

5:30 p.m. -- Golden Ponies, alternative country

7:30 p.m. -- Mystic Mirage, belly dancers

8 p.m. -- Three Rivers Saxtet

Sept. 21

Indoor stage:

5 p.m. -- Dianne Young, traditional Oktoberfest music

7 p.m. -- Voodoo Alley, country/rock/rap

6 p.m. -- Sultanna Dancers, Middle East dancing

Outdoor stage:

5:30 p.m. -- Stone Country, rock

7:30 p.m. -- Mystic Mirage, belly dancers

8 p.m. -- Three Eyed Fish, acoustic rock.
