Kamiakin 4, Chiawana 1: The Braves got a big first-half push as Rilee Castilla scored twice and Ilisha Nguyen once in a Mid-Columbia Conference win at Lampson Stadium.

Kamiakin coach Chris Erickson said despite her team pitching a shutout for most of the night, the defense had its hands full.

"They had a lot to come at us with (Alexis) Stephenson, Braydey Hodgins and Sydney Virgen," Erickson said. "Our defense was solid, but we had a lot of work cut out for us defending those three."
