Workshop planned for small business owners

The Washington State Department of Revenue office in Richland is holding a free workshop for new and small business owners from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 19 at 1657 Fowler St., Richland.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. All participants receive a workbook and reference guide to Department of Revenue rules and regulations.
