The Pasco School District has earned an award for the seventh straight year for its partnership efforts between educators and community members.

The National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University gave the district a Partnership District Award, a release said. The district was recognized for its work with migrant and bilingual parents and other programs.

Captain Gray Early Learning Center also earned an award for its math night events and "Friday with the Principal" activities.

The district and eight of its schools will be featured in the organization's "Promising Partnership Practices 2013" publication.
