Energy Northwest official set to speak Tuesday

Brent Ridge of Energy Northwest will discuss energy issues and the economy at a meeting Sept. 17 of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society.

Ridge is vice president and chief financial and risk officer at Energy Northwest, which owns the nuclear power plant near Richland and a mix of other electricity generating resources, including hydro, solar and wind projects.

His talk will be at 7 p.m. at the Shiloh Inn, Richland. There is no cost, but those who would like to attend the dinner meeting an hour earlier will be charged $22 and should make reservations by emailing ANS.EWS.Treasurer@gmail.com by 4 p.m. Friday.
