Football: Grandview stuns Sunnyside

Grandview 16, Sunnyside 6: Alex Torres rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown and Brandon Marquez added 26 yards and a score, as the Greyhounds upset the Grizzlies on the road in both teams’ season openers.

Grandview jumped out to a 16-0 lead at halftime, thanks to the two rushing touchdowns and a 35-yard field goal by Elias Milanez.

Sunnyside scored on a 5-yard run by Marcus Sanchez in the fourth quarter, but could not rally.
