Class on government contracts set Sept. 17

The Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a free class on Understanding Government Contracting Solicitations from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 17 in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The program will provide information on how the state and federal governments purchase millions of dollars worth of products and services from small businesses each year. Attendees will learn about the bidding process and how to respond to these complicated government solicitations.

Attendance is limited and an RSVP is required. Register at washingtonptac.org/events workshops.
