Kennewick police searching for suspected shoplifter

— Kennewick police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a shopping cart full of items from Shopko.

The man took the items from the Kennewick store on Aug. 20, police said. He reportedly fled when a security guard tried to stop him.

Police believe the suspect has been involved in similar thefts around the Tri-Cities in recent weeks.

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to his arrest.
