Letter: Donors, volunteers, Richland employees make Tumbleweed Music Festival huge sucess

September 5, 2013

Thanks so much to everyone who made the Tumbleweed Music Festival such a great success over the Labor Day weekend.

Thanks first to the city of Richland for the wonderful venue -- Howard Amon Park and the Community Center. Each year, they just get better.

Three Rivers Folklife Society and its team of volunteers worked tirelessly ahead of time and all weekend to make sure that it was a great time for all. Thanks to the many donors and sponsors who supplied the funding for the event. Thanks to the vendors, food concessions and artists who made the park an extra special place.

And, of course, the musicians, dancers and vocalists shared their talents so generously. The quality of the performers was outstanding. The Tri-Cities enjoyed top-notch songwriters, musicians and dancers. Many come quite a distance and share their talents in performances and workshops. If you haven't been to Tumbleweed, put it on your calendar for 2014.
