DUI collision injures Pasco boy, woman, state patrol says

— A 5-year-old Pasco boy and 32-year-old Pasco woman were taken to the hospital after a woman driving under the influence crashed into their car in Yakima, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The boy, Seth Adams, and Jenna S. Seaunier were taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, state patrol said.

Police tried to stop Sara K. Thaxton, 33, as she drove on Highway 82 Tuesday night, state patrol said. The Yakima woman reportedly fled and lost control going through an intersection.

Her car ran a red light and crashed into two cars at the intersection, state patrol said.

Thaxton was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, state patrol said. No one else was injured in the collision.
