Two injured in collision south of Toppenish

— A man and woman from Olympia were injured in a three-car collision Tuesday south of Toppenish, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Betty J. McBride, 57, and Michael L.Marl, 56, were taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital following the collision. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Bette J. Tillequots, 50, of White Swan, was driving on Highway 97 when she slowed for construction, state patrol said. Marl was driving behind her and was reportedly rear-ended by McBride’s car.

Marl’s car then rear-ended Tillequots’ pickup truck, state patrol said. Tillequots was not injured in the collision.
