Group plans protest of military strike on Syria

A group called World Citizens for Peace is planning to protest today a possible U.S. military strike on Syria this week.

The group plans a brief gathering at 4 p.m. today at John Dam Plaza, 1815 George Washington Way, Richland. Participants will then demonstrate on the sidewalk along George Washington Way.

Demonstrations are planned 4 to 5 p.m. each day until Congress reconvenes Sept. 9.
