A 35-year-old Kennewick man is accused of raping a young teen girl.

James Michael Osburn pleaded innocent Thursday in Benton County Superior Court to first-degree rape of a child and first-degree child molestation. Each count includes the aggravating circumstance that he was in a position of trust.

According to court documents, the alleged sexual assault happened between January and June 5.

Osburn removed her clothes and forced her to have sex with him, Deputy Prosecutor Anita Petra wrote in the documents.

Osburn is out of custody after posting bond on $7,500 bail. His trial is scheduled Nov. 4.
