Two suspects arrested in Walla Walla drive-by, two still at large

August 26, 2013

— Two suspects have been arrested in the drive-by shooting of a Walla Walla couple last month.

Cisco A. Gonzalez, 18, and Cristian Bianey Jaimes Rogel, 19, were recently arrested in Milton-Freewater, Ore., said Tim Bennett, Walla Walla police spokesman. Both men are being held at the Umatilla County jail.

Police are still looking for two additional suspects that may have been involved in the shooting.

Gerald C. Gonzalez Jr., 20, and Carlito A. Garcia, 18, are still at large and should be considered “extremely dangerous,” Bennett said. Both have ties to Walla Walla.

All four suspects are affiliated with a gang, Bennett said.

Garcia has devil horns tattooed on his forehead and the words ”South” and “Sider” tattooed above his eyebrows. He also has a skeleton holding two guns on his right cheek.

The men are suspected of shooting a 22-year-old woman and 18-year-old man on July 20 as they got into their car at Sixth Avenue and Moore Street.

Both the man and woman were treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds, Bennett said.

Anyone with information on Gonzalez or Garcia’s whereabouts can contact the Walla Walla Police Department at 509 527-1960.
