Letter: Criticism of Pasco's leadership misguided

August 26, 2013

It takes guts or stupidity to move to the Tri-Cities from Spokane and criticize our leadership. OK, maybe things haven't been perfect, but let's not forget Pasco has been one of the fastest-growing communities in our nation.

Cut them some slack, John Talbott. There aren't too many organizations in the country that could manage that kind of growth with the finesse Pasco's leadership has demonstrated. Walk a mile in their shoes before you come a few miles to throw stones.

They all have my respect and admiration. It's not easy and there's always the guy with 20/20 hindsight. Go home to Spokane, which has a history of slow change. We're anything but slow paced here. Go get 'em Pasco!
