Richland expert to talk about electric cars

Michael Kintner-Meyer of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland will give a presentation on electric vehicles from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kintner-Meyer is the laboratory's lead storage grid analyst and electric transportation expert.

Participants will learn more about electric vehicles and the differences in performance, cost and environmental impact of different models.

The event is at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, Richland, and is sponsored by the Mid-Columbia Electric Vehicle Association.
