Jazz and Wine event on tap in Walla Walla

Jazz and Wine Among Friends is Aug. 23-25 at venues around Walla Walla.

On Aug. 23, music will be performed starting at 6 p.m. at Sinclair Estate Vineyards, at 7:15 p.m. at the Marcus Whitman Hotel and at 8:30 p.m. at Charles Smith Wines, all in the downtown area. Cost to attend all three concerts is $30.

On Aug. 24, music starts at noon at the Walla Walla Wine Incubators at the airport. Cost is $10. Then at 6:30 p.m., several jazz groups will perform at Three Rivers Winery on Highway 12. Cost is $75 and includes snacks and dessert.

Aug. 25 festivities include a parade down Main Street at 9 a.m. followed by a New Orleans-style brunch starting at 10 a.m. at the Whitehouse Crawford restaurant, 55 W. Cherry St.

The Uptown Lowdown Jazz Quartet will provide the music. Cost is $40. For a complete list of featured performers, go to www.reiningerwinery.com.
