State Senate: Brown

August 21, 2013

Sharon Brown has proved herself as a leader in the Senate as a conservative of the Republican Party. I take offense to Jane Wierenga's statement (Letters, Aug. 1) that the county commissioners appeared to bow to pressure from wealthy local groups.

We are not wealthy local groups as she so states. As a precinct committee officer, I don't recall voting or anyone saying that this was against the recommendation of the Benton County Republican precinct officers at any meeting.

If that is true, then please produce the minutes of that meeting. Although I am a conservative Republican living on my Social Security check, by Wierenga's comments, I must be wealthy.

Brown is a true leader in the Senate and the only one running who is a true Republican conservative. To help protect your constitutional rights, vote for Sharon Brown.
