Parade of Homes gets national recognition

By The Tri-City HeraldAugust 20, 2013

The Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities recently was recognized by the executive officers council of the National Association of Home Builders for efforts during the Parade of Homes.

The local Home Builders Association was honored for its Parade of Homes mobile app in 2012 and also received an award for the Best Parade or Tour of Homes for the 2012 Parade of Homes and Chefs on Parade.

"They are a recognition of the countless hours of hard work and professionalism from our staff, partners and members and a reminder of what is great about the home building industry," said Jeff Losey, executive director of the Tri-City association.

The local association represents more than 600 companies who employ almost 10,000 people in the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla areas.
