Hoggarth named leader of Benton-Franklin Red Cross

Tri-City HeraldAugust 20, 2013

A longtime Tri-City area nonprofit official has been picked as the next executive director of the Benton-Franklin chapter of the American Red Cross.

Peggy Hoggarth starts Aug. 26.

She replaces Jeanne Jelke, who retired this year after more than a decade in the post.

Hoggarth most recently worked as chief development officer of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation, and before that spent 10 years as the division director for the local March of Dimes Foundation, a Red Cross news release said.

“We are extremely excited to have Peggy join our team,” said Terry Pollard, regional Red Cross chief executive officer, in the news release. “I am confident that her experience, commitment to the community, and passion for our mission will position her for great success as the leader of the Red Cross in the Benton-Franklin area.”
