Pasco woman injured during hit-and-run collision

— A 27-year-old Pasco woman, Patrica Lepez, was taken to the hospital following a hit-and-run collision in Mattawa, according to the Washington State Patrol.

She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, state patrol said. Her condition was not immediately available.

An unidentified driver in a Chevy Tahoe ran a stop sign Sunday night on Highway 243 and crashed into a car driven by Sylvia Villalobos-Gomez, 27, of Pasco, state patrol said. Villalobos-Gomez’s car, which was carrying two passengers, including Lepez, rolled off the highway.

No one else was injured in the collision, state patrol said.

The driver of the Tahoe fled the scene after the wreck, state patrol said. Three passengers, including two juveniles, stayed in the car.
