Foundation accepting 2013 grant applications

Herald staffAugust 18, 2013

The Three Rivers Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for 2013.

In 2012, the Three Rivers Community Foundation awarded more than $300,000 in grants and scholarships. Last year, the foundation gave $20,000 to the Tri-City Pregnancy Network to help mothers in need and $10,000 to the FIRME Gang Outreach program, which helps youths escape gangs.

Deadline for applications is Sept. 16.

Applicants must demonstrate uniqueness in addressing issues, a sound financial foundation, and should concentrate on the specific needs of the Tri-Cities.

If your organization is interested, contact Carrie Green at 735-5559 or carrie@3rcf.org for more information and to get an application.
