New positions

- Christine Batayola is the new owner of Harms Engineering Inc. in Pasco.

Batayola received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering and construction management from the University of Washington.

Before joining Harms Engineering in 2005, she worked at Hanford’s vitrification project, with a civil engineering design firm in Pennsylvania and with a construction firm in Southern California.

- Dade Moeller has hired Darrell Fisher of Richland as its principal medical dosimetrist.

In his new position, Fisher will provide the company advice on its work in the field of medical physics.

Before joining Dade Moeller, Fisher worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for 35 years.

- Lucinda J. Luke, general counsel for the Port of Kennewick and Tri-Cities Community Health, has joined the Carney Badley Spellman law firm in Seattle. Her practice focuses on labor and employment, corporate and municipal law.


- Michelle A. Clary, a financial adviser with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, recently earned the chartered financial consultant designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Penn.

To earn the designation, she completed a series of written examinations on a range of financial topics.


- Bekins Northwest, a moving company with a Pasco office, has signed an agreement to rejoin its interstate moving partner, Bekins Van Lines.

After Bekins was acquired by World Wide Moving in 2012, Bekins Northwest decided to return to the Bekins brand, according to a news release.
