Kennewick resident arrested for alleged assault with a brick

— A Kennewick resident is accused of second-degree assault after a relative was hit in the head with a brick Thursday evening.

Mahdi Saleh, 39, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, according to Kennewick police reports.

Ameer Mohammed, 36, was taken to Kennewick General Hospital with a cut on his head.

The two are related by marriage and were at an Arthur Street apartment when Mohammed was injured at 5:44 p.m.
