Umatilla Cty. woman dies 6 months after home invasion

— A Umatilla County woman who was assaulted six months ago in a home invasion robbery has died.

The East Oregonian reports 80-year-old Joyce Key of died Saturday.

She had been in an Idaho hospital for months with her injuries.

Three Walla Walla men, ages 18, 20 and 21, are facing burglary, robbery and assault charges in the Jan. 30 attack on Key at her home in the Umapine area.

Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus said Monday he is now considering murder charges against the three.
