State Senator: Brown

August 4, 2013

This letter is written to support Sen. Sharon Brown for state Senate in the upcoming election. I am rarely one to write letters to the editor, and rarely write to support a particular candidate, but I feel strongly that we need to keep the strong momentum going that Sharon has been able to muster in her short time in that position.

Sharon was instrumental in securing $5.4 million for our STEM Delta High School. She is supporting and growing our schools to improve our children's future.

She is also working to reduce government restrictions on small businesses like mine, and I appreciate her determination and drive. Sharon and her husband are business owners here in the Tri-Cities, and understand the environment small-business owners and their employees face every day to be a success here in our region and in our state. We need all the help we can get, and Brown has been a strong voice for us in her short term in Olympia.

I hope everyone who reads this will join me in voting for Sharon Brown in the upcoming election for state Senate.
