August 4, 2013

Benton County has been very fortunate to have Leo Bowman as an elected official for the past 16 years. Leo has served our community well. He has been a strong and effective leader and community advocate.

Leo is very respected and influential in Olympia and Washington, D.C. His energy and determination levels are high. He has a solid history of addressing and solving complex issues and problems. He is highly skilled and effective as a communicator of public policy. Leo listens and works well with people at all levels. His interpersonal skills are excellent. While in office, Leo demonstrated a full understanding of how to secure and manage public funds.

As a former small-business owner and county commissioner, Leo accumulated a vast wealth of knowledge and experience that make him uniquely qualified as a port commissioner. Leo has all the skill sets necessary to be highly successful in helping the Port of Kennewick accomplish its primary mission of economic development. Please cast your vote in the primary for Leo as commissioner for the Port of Kennewick.
