August 2, 2013

— A 42-year-old Pasco man reportedly driving under the influence lost control of his car on Interstate 82 and rolled it Friday night, the Washington State Patrol said.

Peter B. Hinskin was driving a 2006 Pontiac G6 east on I-82 about 11 miles south of Kennewick when the crash happened just before 6 p.m., police said.

He was arrested for DUI, said the WSP. He was taken to Kennewick General Hospital with unknown injuries.

His passenger, Kalen M. Hendricks, 28, of Kennewick, also was hurt and taken to KGH with unknown injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

Both Hinskin and Hendricks were treated and released, according to a hospital official.
