Chamber of commerce, Washington River Protection Solutions offer small business grants

The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce and Washington River Protection Solutions are offering grants to help small businesses with equipment, software, training and websites.

The chamber is accepting applications for grants up to $1,000 for items to enhance their business.

The Small Business Incentive Program was started in 2011, when 42 businesses won awards totaling $30,000.

To be eligible, a company must be an established small business in Benton or Franklin counties and a member of the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Applicants are encouraged to buy from other regional chamber members.

Six businesses are offering special discounts in partnership with the Incentive Program.
