Letter: Puzzled by West Richland zoning decision

July 31, 2013

Why would the West Richland City Council vote to approve Charles Grigg's plan to build a hardware store near Bombing Range Road and Van Giesen Street? Why not build it by Yokes? It's already zoned for commercial. Make sense?

It won't be long, and there will be no more rural areas in West Richland. It will be houses and commercial. Yes we own a new home in West Richland, but we never had any idea when we moved out here what was too come. It's too bad that there goes our small town.
