Election letter: Aquatic center -- vote no

July 31, 2013

You know, maybe we don't need an aquatic center right now. Maybe we could put off some of this stuff for a few years or longer. We seem to be living our lives in a normal manner, and truth be known, we owe a lot of money.

Americans owe $16 trillion. That's a lot of money. This does not include money to run the government or the interest on the debt. Everyone seems to ignore this. No one wants to talk about it.

If we were to pay $16 million dollars every day, it would take more than 2,700 years to pay it off. That's a long time, and I haven't included any interest.

I hope you will think about this on election day. One of these days, something is going to hit the fan. Be ready for it.
