Pasco woman injured in three-car crash

July 30, 2013

— A Pasco woman was injured in a three-car crash on Interstate 182 east of Pasco’s Road 68 on Tuesday.

Cars driven by Erica Ortiz-Gutierrez, 31, of Pasco, and Jake Self, 28, of Kennewick, were stopped in the right westbound lane of the highway at 5:25 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

Konnor Miller, 18, of Burbank, failed to stop and his pickup hit the Honda Pilot driven by Ortiz-Gutierrez, according to police reports. Her car then hit Self’s van.

The two men were not injured but Ortiz-Gutirrez was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Police said Miller was driving too fast.
