Election letter: Port of Kennewick -- Barnes

July 25, 2013

We have known Don Barnes for 12 years. We are in the same Kiwanis Club as Don, so we are with him often for lunch meetings and volunteer service projects. We have been privileged to observe his knowledge, integrity and service to the community.

Don's education and experience as a commercial realtor and his service to the Tri-Cities provide him with the tools to be a hardworking, knowledgeable Port of Kennewick commissioner.

As an appointed commissioner to fill a partial term, Don used his background and skills to be a valued member of the team. We now need to elect Don to a full six-year term to continue the work of the commission on the many important development projects currently under way.

Our vote will be for Don Barnes.
