Election letter: State Senate -- Lemley

July 25, 2013

Kennewick Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 1296, would like to announce its endorsement of Phil Lemley in the race for the 8th Legislative District Senate seat.

As professional firefighters who serve in the 8th District, we seek to advocate for the highest level of service by identifying and establishing a proactive stance on issues related to the current and future needs of our community. We have found Mr. Lemley to be a tireless worker who is serious about his responsibility to the community he represents.

He has demonstrated this commitment in his productive four years on the Richland City Council as well as in his volunteer work with the Richland Police Department and at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. We believe he will bring a reasonable and fair approach to the issues that concern the citizens of this region.

It is our belief that Mr. Lemley is the best candidate to represent the people of the 8th District. We would ask you to join us in supporting the election of Phil Lemley.

ROB KANDLE, Vice president Kennewick Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 1296
