Kennewick siblings hurt in Idaho crash

July 22, 2013

A brother and sister from Kennewick were hurt Sunday afternoon when their vehicle crashed near Sand Hollow, Idaho.

Sarah Morgan, 18, was driving west on Interstate 84 in a 2012 GMC Yukon with Tyler Morgan, 21, about 2:30 p.m.

Morgan drove off the road onto the right shoulder and into a ditch, according to an Idaho State Police release. The vehicle then went over Sand Hollow Creek.

The siblings were taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Their condition was not immediately available. Both were wearing seat belts.

The siblings are Southridge High School graduates. Tyler graduated in 2010 and is attending Brigham Young University-Hawaii, according to his Facebook page.

Sarah graduated this spring as a valadictorian and planned to attend Brigham Young University in Provo.
