Sand Hollow, Idaho — A brother and sister from Kennewick were injured Sunday afternoon when their vehicle crashed near Sand Hollow, Idaho.
Sarah Morgan, 18, was driving west on Interstate 84 in a 2012 GMC Yukon with Tyler Morgan, 21 around 2:30 p.m.
Sarah drove off the road onto the right shoulder and into a ditch, according to an Idaho State Police release. The vehicle then went over Sand Hollow Creek, with the vehicle stopped west of the creek.
The siblings were taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. A status update was not immediately available. Both were wearing seatbelts.
The siblings are Southridge High School graduates. Tyler graduated in 2010 and is attending Brigham Young University-Hawaii, according to his Facebook page. Sarah graduated this spring as a valadictorian and planned to attend Brigham Young University at Provo.
