Joanna and Stan Case

Joanna and Stan Case of Burbank will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Kiwanis Building in Columbia Park in Kennewick.

They were married July 28, 1963, at Zion Lutheran Church in The Dalles, Ore. They moved to the Mid-Columbia in 1973 from Lodi, Calif.

Joanna was an elementary school teacher for Columbia Elementary School in Burbank before retiring in 1999.

She has volunteered as a 4-H leader and is a member of the Burbank Belles Red Hat Society.

Stan worked for the International Harvester Company in California and Pasco and for the Kennewick Irrigation District for 25 years before retiring from KID in 2006.

He volunteered for the Kiwanis Club of Kennewick, Tri-City Vocational School Advisory Committee and the Community Network Committee.

They are members of the Pasco Christian Church.

They have four children: Kristi (Mike) Benshoof of Duvall; Tod (Lorie) Case of Pendleton; Terry (Patty) Case of Helix, Ore.; and Karla (Colby) Way of Zillah.

They have 15 grandchildren.
