The Umatilla County Special Library District is now offering Livemocha, an online language learning community.

The program is available at each of the county's 12 libraries.

Participants have the opportunity to take courses in 38 languages.

Library card holders can sign up for the program on the library's website, ucsld.org.

The program incorporates video, photographs, flashcards, audio and more to help people with different learning styles.

Livemocha also allows participants to live chat with a native speaker in another country.
