WSP recommends charges against Pasco woman

Tri-City HeraldJuly 20, 2013

— The Washington State Patrol is recommending charges against a Pasco woman related to a July 9 accident.

Peggy Sue Hamilton, 52, fell asleep while driving a 2002 Buick LaSabre eastbound on Interstate 90 a mile east of Cle Elum, said officials in WSP’s Wenatchee office. She left the roadway to the left, then over-corrected to the right, WSP said. The car then rolled and came to rest on its top.

Hamilton and passenger Marc R. Graham, also 52 of Pasco, were transported to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg, WSP said. The hospital said Graham was treated and released, but had no record of Hamilton.

Hamilton could now be charged with second-degree negligent driving, identity theft-fraud and third-degree driving while license suspended, WSP said.
